Intuitive, simplified programming, large ergonomic buttons.
4 functions: current speed / partial distance / total distance / clock.
Large display and numbers for quick and easy reading.
Glue/strap magnet to pedal crank and mount sensor on frame nearby. Need to cut and extend the cable to fit. Set wheel size as 1660mm. Apparent speed in km/hr is then cadence in rpm ( divided by 10), e.g. 7.5 kph is 75 rpm This item is probably discontinued, (I got the last one in the store) but cadence meter applies to all speedometers.
Easy to set up and fit
If you want to know your speed , distance and time on your bike but don't want to spend alot of money , buy this !!, I've bought 6 of these in last 3 years and never had a problem
I have tried several other cycle computers and have been disappointed, this one works well, reliable and easy to read.
I bought it in 2012 for Pedal for Scotland and have used it every time since then it is that good, my only problem with it is the battery as it is a difficult one to get a hold of sometimes.
Excellent basic computer with useful functions, clear visible screen and very easy to use, set up and install. Good price too. Does seem to rest itself every week or so, often in pocket when off bike. Could be that the reset button is too easy to hit?
If you are looking for a good basic cycle computer that does the four most useful functions at a reasonable price then look no further. Very easy to set up, clear display, speed in km or mph, time in 12 hr or 24 hr format, trip distance and total distance. It is a wired device so the slack has to be "taken in", but on the other hand you only need one battery. Works very well and is quite accurate.
The product is very very good for the price. I had to watch a video on YouTube to fit it, but it was easy when you know how
Why didn't the company upload the user manual? I cannot understand this. It's very useful to keep a manual in your cell phone and read when you really need to! But I cannot imagine to grab the printed manual every time.
I use a turbo trainer and needed a reliable cycle comp. however as anyone who has looked into it knows they are designed for front wheel... so based on most wireless ones only having around 60-90cm coverage, they were no good for me. so onto wired, this one has around a metre of cable and therefore I measured the distances and found that I could run the device to my handle bars, excellent, so bought it... then hit a problem, the magnet is too far away from the sensor... brainwave resulted in finding a piece of foam pipe insulation in a nice grey colour, cable tied and magnet positioned at the nearest point of the wheel to the spoke... all checked tightened and off we go... I've been using it now for 2 months almost and no issues at all.... initially I didn't want to spend a lot of money doing a test to find it didn't work.. but to be honest, for what I need, the 4 features are more than enough and its very reliable. hope my review is helpful and solves the problems for anyone who wishes to use a cycle with the rear wheel.. go buy it today!!!
I have 4 of these, on 4 bikes of course. Bought the first as a cheapy when I bought my Triban 3 two years ago, thinking I'd upgrade later. It does the job so well I bought 3 more. Despite being permanently on (showing the clock on stand-by) the batteries in all have lasted over a year. No, it doesn't give all the info some more complicated ones, but all I want is speed, a clock and distance, which it gives. Being able to reset the mileage is a bonus to ensure continuity after battery change.
Its lasted longer than two bikes! Big display, weather proof, long battery life, all i ever wanted to know is how fast i'm going and how far i've gone. It does those two things beautifully. Recommend!
i like to use it more but if it have a light for night biking that make it awesome.... :)
Its a product that no one can make it other than Decathlon
I've been using it for a month and had a good experience with this device. the thing i hate about this product is its rubber material which is below the cyclometer holder wears out within one month and i can see many cracks over that rubber. This is just within one month and i wonder what will happen if i use it for an year or will the rubber material will last even for a year.
