Not sure why is says it’s reversible, only fits mountain bike pumps although labelled in store as a pump for all. Joke product, waste of £15

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of you track pump. I'd like to confirm that this pump head can accept both Schrader and Presta valves. To convert to Presta, you need to unscrew the top cap on the valve, invert the two internal spacers, re-insert them in the same order and screw the top cap back on and voila. To make it clearer, please go to the website, locate the pump and the 5th image will demonstrate more clearly how to switch the spacers. Please give this a go and if no joy, don't hesitate to get back in touch.

Excellent pump

Does the job for a reasonable price

good value

Not as easy to use as the more expensive pumps but a good reserve.

Update instructions

The attached instruction manufacture tag demonstrates the 2 different valve connections but they are labelled incorrectly. Recommend Decathlon get the diagram labels swapped over. Good product once you figured the proper tyre valve connections.

This is a great pump quick and easy to use and it gets to the tyre pressure easy

Problems with converting to Presta Valves

The pump works reasonably well although I have struggled to get beyond 90psi. Problems in other reviews with converting to Presta valves is because the orientation of valve part 1 on the hanging ticket is back to front!! If you look at he thumbnail photo on the product on the website it shows the correct orientation. A few happy hours figuring this out! Come on Decathlon "retail is detail"!!

Says it can support both types of valves. Very difficult to first find the adaptor within the pump, then actually adapt it. Really don't understand why they couldn't put decent instructions on it.

I agree with you that flipping the innards or a valve is time consuming. What we often recommend is to obtain a brass presta adapter which costs mere pennies which can be used for presta valves negating the need to constantly dismantle the valve.

Does the job.

Fits presta and Schrader valves but fiddly to swap adaptor around.instructions not very clear. But does the job.

Listen to the reviews - valve swapping unclear

It is really not obvious how to take the valve apart, reverse it, and use for the presta valve, and you can see the reviews below to prove it. It took a btwin video online to actually figure out that the inside part could be pried out.

Not useful for Presta valves

I bought this to use on my road bike and saw on the label in store that it supports both types of valves. Got it home and there is no adapter and no swapping function. In theory it can support both but only if you purchase extras. How good it is I don't know, but not overly happy being caught out by the store

Does what it says

Lightweight and effective

Looks good but can’t use it

I went to use the pump for my brand new carbon road bike only to find there is no adaptor for the presta!! Useless to me without it therefore. Looks good and light. If only it worked

Grate price for a grate pump

Used on a range of bikes and so far so good. Not the most solid of feeling pumps but for the price is excellent

Wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing, too fiddly to use and not particularly sturdy.

I gather the schrader valve is fine it's the swapping over to presta which is fiddly. I agree with you. I guess that if you only have one type of valve to deal with it's fine but if you have to keep swapping over due to owning multiple bike then it can be a pain. In such cases, the best option is to either opt for a pump with a dual head (such as the excellent 9000 model) or to purchase a small brass adapter which you screw on to the bike valve allowing you to inflate a presta valve with a schrader attachment. Not ideal I can appreciate but it does work
If you are not happy with the pump and it's features then please return it to us for an exchange or a refund.
